St. Helena Skatepark was approved for relocation to Crane Park at the May 13th City Council meeting. The original Wappo Park/Pope Street location became prohibitively expensive to develop due to mitigation of cultural resources and Fish and Game requirements. The next step is to present a modified park design to the Planning Commission. With their approval, groundbreaking could begin as early as August.

Tuesday September 16, 2008 - St. Helena Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Skatepark at Crane Park (mitigated negative declaration, use permit amendment and design approval).
